Survival and Strength

My name is Sherri Jost, and I am an author dedicated to one mission: SAVE A LIFE. This is the legacy I want to leave for my children, who have shown me what it means to never give up — to remain true and faithful, to become fierce and fearless even when it seems all hope is
lost.

My daughters and I survived years of trauma, PTSD and abuse. I have made it my life’s mission to protect and guide others on their journeys of self-redemption and forgiveness — for themselves and for those who once shattered them.

Faith and New Beginnings

For 10 years, I walked the streets each day, praying and believing that I could somehow make it through it through those dark times. My stubborn belief gave me the courage not to give up. Not long after the final chapter of that season closed, I discovered a new world — one that began with
my education.

As I excelled through online classes, I made friends through groups. That support reminded me of my past and the lessons I had to learn the hard way, often without resources. It led me to share what I had learned so others would not have to walk in my shoes.

Finding Her Voice

I was never a person who stood up for myself. I was not a leader, an advocate or even an extrovert. My life changed when I met my ex-husband — in both good and bad ways. Aside from my amazing daughters, he gave me something else: a voice. At first, it was not kind, but it made an impact, and ultimately it gave me freedom. That was the beginning of my new chapter.

I will never again allow anyone to control me, bully me or make me feel guilty for standing up for myself and others. It took more than a decade to realize my life’s purpose and why God still has me here on earth.

Purpose and Leadership

When I began building my business and writing my books, I believed that if I could overcome that season of my life, I could do anything. Being a survivor meant I could run a business that could serve as a light for others — showing hope and offering compassion.

Success for me means waking up each morning to see what doors God will open. Feasible or not, each day I am alive is proof of resilience. Every encounter is an opportunity to change lives through reflection, communication and listening.

Living With Purpose

I continue to write books and create safe spaces for women to express themselves and rediscover their worth. Each of us is here for a reason.

You may never walk in my shoes, nor I in yours, but our journeys may lead us to more than we could ever imagine. Look how far you’ve come — you cannot give up.
Life is a journey, not a competition.
